Bronco Billy's Saloon: Best Burgers, Cajun Chicken & Pet-Friendly Patio in Baraboo, WI

Stopped in here on a Packer game day. We wanted burgers, which we've had quite good luck with before here. Our server suggested the "Game Day Burger." Okay, we'll try it, but "what is that?". The price is less than the normal burger, mainly because it's smaller than the normal burger. This would have been fine, except, our server could not tell us the difference between the normal burger and the Game Day burger. We only found out by experience when our food arrived. My companion can not finish the normal burger, but this one was finished, that's because it is smaller than a normal burger. If we had known that, meaning if our server had been able to tell us the differences, we would have just ordered the normal burgers. The ranch dressing here is of note. I'm guessing it's made in house and it's quite nice for dipping the fries. Of note here is that both burgers were ordered without pickles and yet, both plates came out with pickles on them. Normally, while I would mention this and just slide the pickles onto a napkin, the bad thing is that the pickle juice flooded out the burger bun. So, even without eating the pickles, I still had a pickle flavored burger. This is a simple thing that our server should have caught, had she actually checked our order. But, apparently, not only did she not know the difference between a regular burger and a game day burger, she was never taught that she is responsible to check each order as it's coming out to the table so things like this don't happen. The biggest question: Will we return? Probably. The regular burgers are quite good. Though it's now been more than two months since we've been here, mainly because of things like this. If we do return, it'll be for the regular burger, even if it's on a Game Day. And, no pickles, please.

Beautiful place, all the staff are helpful and attentive. And the food! I got a Cajun rub grilled outlaw chicken sandwich that was absolutely amazing!! The wife got a sweet n sassy burger with seasoned waffle fries. She said (and this is a large statement coming from a chick fil a fan), the fries were way better than chick fil a and it was the best burger she ever had. We both tried each others and both of us agreed. If you're even close to Madison or the dells or just passing thru. Definitely go outta your way to eat here!!!

Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. I got the Outlaw Chicken with the Cajun rub and tater tots and it was all excellent. Extremely reasonably priced for how much food you get. Definitely would recommend

The owners have totally redone the place and it is gorgeous! Beautiful indoors and outside! They have live music with a very pet friendly patio. The food was fantastic! We ordered the Cactus Jack burger, beer fries, clam chowder and salted caramel cheesecake. All very delicious!!! I'll definitely frequent this place now! They also have a lovely salad bar, drink specials and a pup menu for your dog.

Great service, our server was extremely friendly, the food was amazing, restaurant was super clean, received the food super fast! Definitely will come back when we return to the area! Love that you can bring your dog and their doggie menu was cool, loved the outside seating, plenty of room. 10 out of 10 recommend if you haven't been here !

it was a nice place, different atmosphere. had a American food place feel with a local feeling twist. our waitress was busy but nice and did get help from others. the portions were good and I really appreciated the homemade appearance of the burger patties. the patties had a charbroiled taste to them which isn't a particular favorite for myself but I'm sure others would love it. the view outside is pretty nice as well and I'm not sure where you can see it from but the enormous American flag waving out past the corn is a nice touch.

Outstanding place. Very clean and updated. Bloody Mary bar is a great value. Bartenders are very friendly. Wings were good. Plenty of seating and TVs. Patio is really cool, great set-up.

The food was really good, the atmosphere was nice, but the waiter made the stop great. Joshua was the kind of person who puts himself into every conversation and makes everyone feel like an old friend. He was funny, quirky, and so genuinely outgoing that you couldn’t help but smile every time he stopped by the table. His energy and positivity turned a simple dinner stop into one of those road trip memories we’ll never forget. 5 stars for the food and especially the staff.
